Sacred Heart School is an independent Catholic, college preparatory school for young women from kindergarten through grade 12.
Throughout its 168 year history, Sacred Heart prides itself on preparing students to be stewards of the earth’s resources. Greenleaf Energy Solutions approached Sacred Heart’s business manager, Tony Costa about creating energy management initiatives across the historic campus. Greenleaf's goal with this project was to replace their previous unflattering light fixtures with appealing energy efficient options.
Initatives
The team replaced unflattering yellow fixtures within offices and energy efficient fixtures in hallways that not only increased the light levels but better highlighted the beauty of the historic facility. Greenleaf completed the installation schedule during the summer months to ensure minimal disruption to the learning environment.

Higher temperature lamps within the library space have, increased light levels and enhanced the learning environment space. The newly established fixtures fit seamlessly into the area all while improving the aesthetics of the school.
